My master's thesis is an investigation of sources of microbial pollution in three Wyoming watersheds. This project is a collaboration between aquatic ecologists, microbiologists, Wyoming DEQ, and local conservation groups interested in implementing research-based management techniques to improve impaired streams. Having previously worked for both NGOs and government agencies, I'm particularly interested in relaying my scientific findings to land managers and policy makers, helping to bridge the gap between research scientists, policy makers and conservation groups.
